Inside WOMB:
A Zero-Waste Fashion Studio Tour & Upcycling Experience

Milestone Weave: A Collective Memory Piece
As part of our Go Green SG 2025 experience, we will create a community art installation using ropes preserved from our past 20 years in retail. These ropes, once used in our store displays, will be transformed into a woven art piece symbolising the journey of Womb. We invite customers, friends, and anyone who has journeyed with us to contribute by weaving a strap into this evolving piece. Each weave becomes a shared memory, celebrating milestones, connection, and conscious creation.

Scrap-to-Strap: Make Your Own Mini Cardholder
In this hands-on workshop, participants will repurpose leftover scrap fabrics from our collections into unique mini cardholders. Each piece tells a story, once part of a thoughtfully designed garment, now reborn as a functional everyday item. Attendees can mix and match fabric swatches to create their own colour-blocked design, making each cardholder a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Perfect for holding travel passes or cards on the go, this workshop champions zero-waste creativity and celebrates sustainable design in a personal, practical way.

Fabric to Yarn: Weaving Waste into Wonder
In this hands-on session, participants will learn to transform leftover fabric strips, narrow remnants from our collections into continuous yarns. This process reveals how even the tiniest scraps can be given new life. The resulting yarns can be kept as a meaningful keepsake or repurposed for future craftwork, symbolising the quiet potential of waste when shaped by mindful hands.
